Within this programme, the Armed Forces Ministry is responsible for action number 8: To sports, young citizens!

Since 2019, almost 50 000 young people have taken part in this programme, thus raising their awareness about the importance of sports, remembrance and citizenship. They were given the opportunity to put themselves in the shoes of a member of the Resistance during a memorial escape game, take part in a team orienteering race based on the history of their region or run for the Bleuet de France charity. They could also visit the exhibition devoted to athletes during the war, meet top-level athletes from the French Armed Forces Ministry preparing for the 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games, or military personnel from the French delegation to the Invictus Games, an international multi-sport competition created on the initiative of Prince Harry, then Duke of Sussex.
