Whatever the circumstances, especially during operations abroad, the Military Health Service provides medical and surgical support to the armed forces.

Two main principles are guiding the Military Health Service’s action during military operations:

set up medical and surgical equipment as close to the casualties as possible
early repatriation of injured soldiers to military hospitals in France.

The Military Health Service is permanently committed to offer optimal healthcare quality standards, in order to preserve the chances of survival and the physical fitness of the patients.
